About GGASHI
Golden Gate ASHI
The Golden Gate chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) was founded in 1980. The members of our non-profit organization work collectively to establish high professional standards, provide continuing education, outreach to the public, and networking for those in the profession.
We hold monthly meetings at the Truitt & White Conference Room in Berkeley, and professionals from related professions are encouraged to attend. We also periodically host other educational events such as seminars. Please click on Events to see what’s on the calendar.

A Word From Our President
Hands down, joining the Golden Gate Chapter of ASHI was the best thing I did to make me a successful home inspector. The wealth of information and experience that is freely shared by the inspectors in this group is astounding. While it may seem counterintuitive that inspectors from various companies would gather and share, but as they say: a rising tide lifts all boats.
If you are interested in getting into the field of home inspection or have been doing it for years, I urge you to come to one of our monthly meetings and see firsthand how GGASHI can benefit you!

President of GGASHI 2025-2027
