Gunnar’s professional career began with a directionless attempt at obtaining a college degree which ended up in dropping-out. He then went into construction and spent eight years working in a variety of trades before obtaining his General Contractor’s license and then began a ten year odyssey into failing at contracting. Once he figured out that this wasn’t working either, he looked seriously at home inspection, working at a multi-inspector firm for nearly five years before starting his own company in 2001.
