5:30pm Pre-Meeting Brian Cogley will review conditions from a recent inspection (Attendees with earn an additional ASHI CE)
6:45pm Comment Review Brian Cogley, past president, will provide a report writing analysis using member-submitted comments to improve clarity and the principles of Identification, Implication, and Recommendation.
7:00pm Dinner Enjoy a handcrafted dinner by our personal chef, Malika Henderson. This month’s menu: TBD
7:00pm Chapter Meeting During dinner, chapter president Paul Barraza will lead a short business meeting to cover chapter and ASHI business, committee reports, and upcoming educational opportunities.
7:45pm Main Speaker Nick Ridge will have a presentation on wood framed structures. (Attendees with earn an additional ASHI CE)
Nick Ridge is a licensed contractor, master framer, and concrete contractor (as well as a home inspector) based in El Cerrito. He has also written several books on roof framing and teaches roof framing classes to new carpenters.
