January Dinner/Zoom Meeting: Electrical Expert Ryan Jackson

$10 – $45Ryan Jackson is a National Electrical Code® instructor and textbook author in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area. He is a principal member of Code-Making Panel 17 for the National Electrical Code and serves on several Standards Technical Panels for UL. He is certified as an inspector in the electrical, building, mechanical, and plumbing codes, and has taught the NEC® and NFPA 70E® at the national level over the last three decades.
5:30pm Pre-Meeting John Fryer, local municipal inspector and former home inspector, will have a slideshow about building damage from the recent storms. (Attendees will earn an additional ASHI CE)
6:45pm Comment Review Brian Cogley, past president, will provide a report writing analysis using member-submitted comments to improve clarity and the principles of Identification, Implication, and Recommendation.
7:00pm Dinner Enjoy a handcrafted dinner by our professional personal chef, Malika Henderson.

7:00pm Chapter Meeting During dinner, chapter president Paul Barraza will lead a short business meeting to cover chapter and ASHI business, committee reports, and upcoming educational opportunities.
7:45pm Main Speaker Ryan Jackson will give a presentation on receptacle requirements in the National Electric Code, as well as a Q&A session. (Attendees with earn an additional ASHI CE)
