August Virtual Meeting: Living in Home Assessments with Steve Weaver

With an aging population, that is more likely than previous generations to live at home, Living In Home Assessments could be a new auxiliary service for your home inspection business. “Living in Place” is the practice of making all homes accessible, healthy, safe, beautiful, regardless of age or needs.
5:30pm Login and Socialize Join a few minutes early to sort out technical issues and chat with your fellow inspectors.
6:00pm Pre-Meeting Chapter member Seth Cherney will review conditions from a recent inspection (Attendees will earn an additional ASHI CE) (Attendees will earn an additional ASHI CE)
7:00pm Chapter Meeting Chapter president Paul Barraza will lead a short business meeting to cover chapter and ASHI business, committee reports, and upcoming educational opportunities.
7:30pm Main Speaker Steve Weaver will speak about the Living in Place institute, Living in Place assessments, and becoming a Certified Living in Place Professional (CLIPP) (Attendees will earn an additional ASHI CE)
Steve Weaver is an award winning contractor and self-professed accessibility nerd. His passion was initiated from his daughter’s journey with Cerebral Palsy as well as helping his parents age as gracefully as possible. He started EASE (Eagle Accessibility Solutions & Equipment, Inc.) in 2003. He has fully immersed himself into the world of finding the most appropriate solution for his clients who want to live in their own home regardless of their age or abilities.
